Which One Is Better Squidoo Or Hub Pages?
Sunday, November 8th, 2009The internet is full of social networking blogspots and communities, but two of the best out there are Hub Pages and Squidoo. Both of these social Journal networks seem to have an imbalanced benefit when it comes to placement well with the search engines. Along with Word Press, Ezine Articles, and of course Google Blogger, these two communities can get indexed just about at once. The question is not if they are helpful forms of marketing but rather, which one delivers the hardest thump?
Hub Pages is a community for writers, bloggers, or everyone wanting to contribute something fascinating with the written word. Your blogs at Hub Pages are branded as hubs. You can pick from unique modules to augment the appearance and creativity of your hubs. Hub Pages allows you to include your adsense, amazon, and Ebay ID to you hubs to make profits from anyone who clicks or buys from your links. You can also insert keywords to your hubs to make it simpler for the search engines to position you.
Squidoo is also a community for authors and very similar to Hubpages. The major distinction between the two is that Squidoo refers to its pages as lens. Just like Hub Pages, you can construct unlimited lens on any theme while earning additional profits from adsense, amazon, and Ebay.
Squidoo is very Google friendly and permits you to add up to 40 keywords to your lens to enhance your search engine presence. As you can notice, these two powerhouse, high pr social communities share numerous similar characteristics; So what are the differences?
The differences commence with the earnings from your income modules. Squidoo has a shared earning policy which divides the total income between the whole Squidoo community depending on the ranking of your lens. The higher your lens rank, the larger portion of the earnings you receive. Hub Pages on the other hand permits you to keep 100% of your profit from adsense, amazon, and Ebay.
Another difference are the procedures and policies. Hub pages is extremely strict on self promotion or over promoting of affiliate products. They will prohibit you quickly if your intentions are to only provide content for the sole purpose of spamming. Squidoo also frowns spammers, but they are more inviting to internet marketers who are interested in creating lens to promote their affiliate products or services. I guess you can say that Squidoo gives you a wider freedom of speech. Hub Pages in addition does not allow adult content.
Squidoo has recently strengthen their policies on the types of lens that they will allow. Examples of lens that use to be accepted that are no longer acceptable are: Lenses on mature content, medical miracle cures, and lenses with more than 9 links to the same site. If you can accomplish giant squid standing (50 lenses) than these guidelines may be waived.
Both Squidoo and Hub Pages offer a space for like minded individuals to bring their visions, ideas, products or artistic views to the internet. The question of which one packs the most damaging punch in my belief, can simply be left up to every individual. I personally use both. Since both communities are free to become a member and free to socialize, I find it that it makes sense not to show favoritism. The choice between one over the next would be the equivalent of leaving money on the table.
Squidoo and Hub Pages are great websites for getting visitors and raising your search engine positioning. For more info on dominating search engines, you can visit organic seo. This and other unique content ” articles are available with free reprint rights.
