Sell Your E-book Through Articles

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

You can make money online by marketing information products like e-books and more. By this point, you will have researched a topic online, using keywords to narrow your field. Now the writing is complete and the website is online, you need to drive traffic to the website selling your e-book.

What is one of the best ways to get more visitors to buy your e-book?

Articles are the perfect solution. Use the keyword phrases from your e-book to write a series of articles on the same topic. Include a link at the end of each article to encourage visitors to visit your website. Add a brief bio about the author. Best of all, offer a free (but valuable!) “ethical bribe” to encourage visitors to your site.

If your article helps your readers to save money, then you have reached a thrifty audience. They might like other money-saving tips. At the bottom of each article, include a blurb like this: “Stephen Beck is a financial expert who writes articles to help people save money on their wedding. Get your free copy of Celebrate ” Great Money-Saving Tips for Your Fabulous Wedding. Click here for free information”. This backward link brings traffic to your website.

When they click on that link to get your free report, theyre will be whisked away to your e-book page. When they get to your e-book web page, there will be a pop-up for their name and email so you can send them your free report. Meanwhile theyre already at your page and theyre reading about your e-book and all the things it can do for them.

After your articles are complete, they will help you create a massive e-book promotion. Send articles to article directories, blogs, e-zines ” anywhere you can. Heres a hint: Webmasters love fresh, new, free articles to add to their websites. It doesnt matter that you have a link to your own website.

As you write and submit articles, you develop a reputation as an authority. This increases your name recognition. At the same time, the backward links increase your rankings in the search engines while driving more traffic to your website. This is a great way to use articles to sell your e-book.

How to Certify a Green Business

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

It is fair to say that earning a Green Business certification has a cost. The investment can be small or large depending on how many challenges a company may face to become an authentic Green business. I would put the Greening effort in a similar monetary category as buying a piece of needed machinery for the company. The rationale is that the machine is needed to make the company run better, it will save time, and reduce the work load for everyone.

These are somewhat intangible benefits except that they show up on in a better operation and in savings to the company’s bottom line. In other words, Going Green is an investment that has a predictable return. More and more, we are learning that Green is not just an expense that takes an unfriendly bite out of the cash flow. Going Green has real and lasting benefits that may be hard to measure but can be seen as a boost to the company’s overall profitability.

For example, if you improve the indoor air quality, you will also reduce employee health claims and increase employee productivity. Get smart with you energy use, and your electric and fuel bills will go down. As rates goes up (and they will), the efficiencies that you now embrace will become more impressive as rates go up. If you install a paperless document system, your whole company will speed up, and more work will be processed by fewer workers. Employee cost savings is not a small advantage as every business is looking to keep expenses down.

Could Going Green actually save a company $10,000, $25,000, or $50,000 a year? The answer is an absolute Yes. These kind of savings come from taking a wise and professional approach to the subject. Certified Green Consultants offer the expertise that most companies need to install a Green program that will bring about a thoughtful Greening program that includes the kind of savings that help a company in more ways than social responsibility in a world struggling with environmental issues.

Another intangible is the marketing value of being a Certified Green Business. As the Green market matures, the ability to stand out as something more than a self-appointed Green company has limited credibility in this market. It is possible to Fake Green by buying a Green logo online without any serious commitment or audit routine. It is common sense to Go Green and do it with a bona fide certification program like the one offered by the Green Business League.

Admittedly, there is a price to be paid for Greening a business, we are finally realizing that there is also an excellent payback for the investment that does not take years to realize. A Certified Green Consultant knows how to make the Greening process pay off in just one to two years. The cash that the company is able to keep in the corporate account will enable the company to stay profitable. Green business certification will give your company the ability to promote the operation as an authentically Green Business. The company, the employees, the consumers, and the environment are all winners in this process. When Greening your company with professional assistance, there are no losers in a better and Greener world.

Be warned that doing any good thing badly rarely pays off, and often causes real embarrassment. Buying a Green business credential online line falls in the same category as cyber porn. It isn’t real, and it isn’t right. A website can be set up in a week, and start offering a flimsy imitation to the public that claim to be as good as the real thing. When it is all said and done, you just cant beat the real thing. This is a form of “Fake Green” that should be avoided. Going Green is an investment, so do it right. The best Green Business certification comes from the Green Business League where trained Green Consultants work with your business for maximum results.

Article Marketing Strategy: Write Articles To Claim The Top Spot In Your Niche

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

When I first started out on the web as a psychotherapist, I had no idea that I was trying to penetrate a saturated niche - relationship advice. I just got started and let the chips fall where they may.

What I soon quickly realized was that when I started writing relationship articles on my site and began submitting them to other sites - that my website quickly began to gain relevance, importance, and most importantly - lots of fresh new traffic.

If you are just starting out on the web, or even if you have been online for a while and you haven’t yet claimed “authority” in your niche - writing the articles just may be the ticket for you. What started as an accidental turn of fortune for me, can be a deliberate cash cow for you.

Ready to get started? This is how you can get started right away claiming the top spot in your niche:

1. Find relevant keywords in your niche. I like using keyword finder tools such as Wordtracker and the Google Keyword Tool.

2. Start out by writing one article bi-weekly. This is a pace most any entrepreneur can keep up with, but if you can write more - more is better!

3. Research shows that search engines love content that is at least 400 to 500 words long, and that readers love reading short chunks of info-packed articles. So write 400-500 word articles. Not long 1500 word articles.

4. Carefully place your keywords early in the title of your article, and in the first paragraph and somewhere in the latter body of your article. Don’t become a keyword stuffer or spammer, and stuff your article with keywords. The search engines are smarter than that and will penalize you for it. Plus your article will not read very unnaturally.

5. Don’t get caught up on the particular placement of your keywords. Just make sure that it is in your title and mentioned at least twice in your article like I stated above in #4. Some people can become paralyzed about where to place keywords and then never write anything at all.

6. Submit your article to relevant sites, especially ones that prospects in your niche like to frequently visit. People and mover and shakers in your niche will begin to learn your name and start to view you as an expert or authority in your marketplace.

7. Boost your article marketing even more by promoting your articles via social marketing or press releases. I like to use Twitter, Facebook, Ping.fm. This will gain you wider exposure so that you can begin to reach people outside of your niche. This is all good because you never where that next “word-of-mouth” referral is going to come from.

8. Finally, be consistent. Try to create a “writing schedule” for yourself or your virtual assistant. Remember that it’s more important to write and publish 100 “good enough” articles on a consistent basis — then to write 10 perfect ones and then never write again!

Seek To Earn Residual Income And Spend Time With The Ones You Love.

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Everyone knows that no matter what you have to work to make money, but what if you could change the way you work drastically, many people are interested in how they can earn residual income. This income source is described as doing something once and getting paid for the same task over and over again each and every month.

To most, this sounds like another scam that has been brought on by the internet. However, there are people who are making their living off of residual income and never have to work a day in their lives. They vast in money coming in every month, and if they so choose they can work a few hours during the week to make a little bit more for their pocketbook.

The internet has opened up a lot of doors, as many people already know. And, thanks the internet earning residual income has never been easier. The trick is to join a program that offers the service to earn this kind of income. People come in and join after you, therefore anything that they do will automatically come back as a positive income source for you as well.

Many may think that residual income would be a dream. There are so many people, especially since the current recession that are forced to work elongated hours at a job that truly does not appreciate them. Everyone says that family is so important yet careers often times try to keep families separated from one another.

You are always told that the things that matter the most are your family. However it seems like you have to work more then be around the ones that matter most. It’s kind of an oxymoron, when you honestly ponder about it. If family is supposed to be such a great thing, and that is the reason why we work, why should work be able to force us to stay away from them?

To better understand residual income; let’s compare it to a real life event and you be the judge of what sounds better to you. Let’s say you enter into an internet business, this business consists of selling a variety of e-books to customers. An e-book is an electronic book online that is available via download that explains a particular thing. So, let’s say this is what you do, you sell these books.

Every time someone buys the book, your relationship with that person has ended. They receive their merchandise you get the payment and you move onto the next person. Most people are used to this kind of work, but residual income is a whole new ballgame.

Let’s say after that customer buys your e-book they are led to a site that you recommend to help them with whatever they need the e-book for. The site charges a small $20. 00 fee every month to stay a part of. The customer signs up utilizing their credit card. Every month that customer stays on the program and gives that $20. 00 fee to remain active with the program you get a percentage of that money each and every month. This is residual income at its finest.

Prices Increase And Savvy Marketers Add Value

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Each year, thousands of companies consistently raise prices to increase margins and offset growth in various costs. For anyone working in corporate America, you are quite familiar with this tactic. For marketers, rising costs are always a challenge.

As marketing professionals trying to sell around price increase, we more often find that traditional campaigns become less effective. All it takes is one heavily weighted variable to have a negative impact on campaign performance. This is especially true when we hear objections from our customers and are unable to fully justify the increase. With few changes to a given product the prospect of creating value is limited.

The biggest issue that many marketers have about the dreaded price increase is losing customers to lower priced competitors. This is especially true in segments where competitors products are priced less than your offering. There is always someone else that your customer can buy from and sometimes that is a very real option. You will be glad to know however that a recent study found that few customers migrate to a competitor based on prices alone.

There are a number of factors that explain why this is the case. Also, one must consider the cost to the customer to start from scratch. This has both and emotional as well as financial component.

Consumers have been conditioned to ask for a discount or find the sales rack. When introducing a price increase to your customers they are going to want to avoid it at all costs. This is just human nature. But this also explains why they will continue to ask for discounts long after their customers even though they wont leave you.

Below I list just a few things to consider before communicating a price increase to customers. Do what you can to lighten the load or simply divert attention to something of greater value.

Increase the value of your product and raise the price. Doing so allows you to justify the price to your customers. This removes any type of obstacle associated with price increases that are simply a way to earn the company more money but provide no benefit to the consumer. Determine how you could provide additional services, support, or terms to support a price increase.

Focus on switching costs. If a customer has to leave you, there are direct and indirect costs associated with doing so. Make a list for yourself. By moving to a new vendor, does you customer have to pay a new fee of some sort? Will they lose money by canceling with you or your services? How much time and effort do they need to put into finding a new vendor?

Not all customers are equal. I know that saying so is not going to be popular but its the truth. Your customers are different shapes and sizes and mean different things to your company and organization. Price increases should reflect the individuality of your customer base and be designed for maximum impact.

The last piece of advice I can give anyone thinking about delivering price increases is to fully understand the competition and what types of alternatives are available to those you currently serve.

If you have a stronger package at a better price than you competitors, switching is not an issue. If your offering is less valuable and more expensive, then perhaps you need to reevaluate your pricing. As a marketer, your job is to create a perception of value or remedy for a given need. Identify that need and focus your messaging on meeting that need. When you do, price is rarely an issue.

A Basic Guide To Article Marketing - A Free Method For Attracting Business To Your Website

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

The key to writing articles first and foremost is to KEEP IT SIMPLE and WRITE ABOUT WHAT YOU KNOW.

OVERVIEW: The idea is that you write articles and then submit them to lots of different article directories. Those directories promote them and if someone wants to use it on their blog, website or perhaps in an e-book. The people who use the articles get to use them for free as long as they say who wrote them.

There’s an unlimited number of things you can write about. You can write about Real Estate, Home Business, Online Marketing or even Boats. It doesn’t matter what your interests are, but the important thing is what your blurb says about you at the bottom. Here’s an example of mine:

Tracey Dornelles is an online entrepreneur and founder of www.NewLifeHomeBusiness.com.au a marketing company designed to help people create their own home business. If you want to know how you can spend more time with your family and doing the more important things in life go to www.NewLifeHomeBusiness.com.au

You don’t need to have any kind of background in writing because it’s not like you’re writing a novel or an article for a respected newspaper …. it’s actually OK to write in a more conversational style, so just write how your would explain something to someone. That doesn’t mean you don’t need to plan a little bit, but people on the internet just want short snippets of info they can read in a short amount of time.

It’s a good idea to write in lots of paragraphs because people get bored otherwise.

* You could also write in point form or in steps, as in STEP 1) STEP 2)

* Now this is important. Writing an article is NOT just a promo for your business, it’s to give people REAL and FREE information. If you just write a promotional article, which isn’t really an article anyway the Article Directories will just reject it anyway.

Also don’t expect direct responses from articles. The main aim is actually more long term. It helps get your organic listing higher in the search engines and to get your name out there as an expert. It’s a long term thing, so you may even have to write as many as 10-20 articles to start seeing increased traffic to your website, but imagine after 6 months or even a year what your profile will be like in the industry.

There’s ssssssooooooo many article directories you can submit your articles to. Do a search on Google for “Article Directories list” and heaps will come up.

The biggest and most popular article directory seems to be www.ezinearticles.com but there’s hundreds more out there. And depending on what your article is about you could also send it to a niche website. So, say you wrote a website about computers, then you could contact the editor and offer them your article. I have done this with some baby specific articles I wrote.

These are a few more I have used: www.goarticles.com www.articleland.co.uk www.articlealley.com

Now you are armed with the basics of Article Marketing - Get writing! Start off slowly and eventually you get more efficient at writing great content. Good Luck!

Effective car advertising ideas

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

To wrap or not to wrap, that is the question

Vehicle adverts are leaps ahead, as a low cost way of  outdoor advertising.

Leading amongst this form of advertising are  car wrap advertising . For the professional designers and applicators they are technically demanding, but for the advertiser, are highly visible and sales driving. Car wraps integrate the requirements of the advertising message with the technicalities of fitting a design onto a 3D shape.

Fresh original ideas are always interesting and that’s what vehicle wraps are, hugely interesting.  If you want to be seen then this is a successful way to get it. Dollar for dollar, car wraps are way ahead of billboard advertising for investment and on going running costs.

Small dollar ways to squeeze your dollars further

A car wrap is a knock-em-down advertising medium. However, if you’re a doctor or other professional, it’s perhaps not for you. And then there’s the question of dollars . A lower cost, approach is the car magnet.

With a nicely designed car magnet your advertising can be seen all over the country. With a custom car magnet there is complete design flexibility to use whatever you’re preferred graphic design may be

Once you’ve chosen car magnets, you’re customers and prospects will see you driving around within days, such is the ease of designing and making them.

So between the options of a full body wrap or a custom printed car magnet, there are plenty of ways to amp up your business presentation and bump up sales.

Other kinds of magnets

Then, every customer loves a freebie and having grabbed their attention with those fantastic vehicle graphics, “why not make it easy for them to call you?”

Well, it’s easy, with custom designed fridge magnets plastered all over your business car.

Your car has become a useful way to give away your contact information; all boding well for bumping up your sales

The time has arrived for vehicle advertising

Company’s use vehicles because it is part of keeping business moving. They are there entirely for this reason - so the addition of advertising reaps a secondary benefit similar to that gained with taxi or billboard advertising. Given the substantial money for billboards, your vehicle advertising doesn’t have these expenditures so vehicle advertising is an easily justified investment.

Social Networking Sites | Social Media Marketing Success Or A Networking Nightmare?

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Theres a lot of talk about social media marketing and a lot of debate about the ROI but here my take on why you should invest time, resources and energy into building a profile across different social networking platforms and how you can use your profile to drive traffic to your website.

With so many social networking sites out there its easy to get lost in the woods, struggling to find your way around and find yourself camped out, talking nonsense with the social media fools, freaks and geeks sending postcards, virtual drinks and all those other latest social applications floating around the social media universe.

It’s essential to plan ahead to avoid failure in any marketing campaign but social media with all its’ attractions and distractions makes this task even harder. So, here’s what you need to do;

Number one, take a look at who you are before you start to look at others. Branding is essential to your success when using social networking platform as once you paint a picture of yourself on facebook, myspace or twitter you cannot change it if you decide you don’t like what you see. get it right from day one and it will pay big dividends down the road.

With so many social networking sites to choose from it would be easy to spread yourself too thin or to join the wrong site just to get the social media train moving, but this would be a big mistake. Take a good look at what’s out there and find out where your customers will be when you start to enter the room. If you don’t know where to look start with Google and you should find the answer.

Third, get in there and listen to whats being said before you start to speak. Theres a lot of noise online and to stand out from the crowd and develop a good social media marketing presence the first thing you need to do is listen. Take twitter as an example and its easy to see how few people have any real idea or knowledge of how to use this particular social networking site.

The bottom line is simple. Be different, add value and entertain and when you do this you will see that you when you speak people will begin to listen and when they begin to listen you can begin to tell them about your site and your business and they might just take a look for themselves.

Elegant Brochure Printing Is What You Should Aim For

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Most of the business houses come out with several printing articles, which serve both as communication purposes as well as advertising tools. Good brochure printing is a necessary part in the whole process of promoting the manufactured goods or the service of a company. There are other materials in this category to make the same result as brochure printing does for a business owner.

You will probably not be able to separate between really genuine business houses from a kind of make-belief business on the face value of a business card or leaflet. The representations there are just about similar and speak of only fine qualities. If you evaluate brochures of different companies, you can easily spot the difference in the position of companies.

Good companies consider brochure printing as an investment to make a positive impression into the market to create possibilities for better income. This is not possible for those companies, which pretend to be big ones. The brochure of a business house is a true reflection of the class of the company. It is a summary of the company’s past achievements and excellence attained in the trade.

A customer will be able to recognize the worth of a particular company and can decide to award contracts. It is a tool to differentiate the status of a particular company in the market from other competitors. Hence it is a wise decision to opt for a high quality brochure printing venture for reliable and efficient companies.

The next step would be to discover the ingredients of an efficient brochure printing activity. A qualified brochure has to be planned by professional approach. The ingredients, which are, the matter and the form of the brochure have to be top class. The look of the brochure should reveal that it had incurred quite an expenditure on this account.

A pleasing appearance of the brochure projects the superior impression of the company to the consumer. You have to pay proper attention to the choice of color mix, the shape, the size and even on the calligraphy used in the script. A clean brochure speaks of the transparent nature of a reputable company. The all important thing in brochure printing is the delivery of the message.
