Being Experienced At 3d Design
Wednesday, February 16th, 2011Since you may have done 3d design in the past and knew how to do it, then it might be easier for you work after you have started your first job. Once you have thought about it, you may have decided that choosing to do a career in design was the best choice you have ever made because now you may be so experienced at it you could do your job with your eyes closed.
In this field you may want to get as much education as you can because the more you have the better off you will be. Before you jump into a career you have to decide if you even want to do it. You might want to stick to doing it for fun, and the reason why you might decide to do that might be because you would rather do another career.
You may be fed up and about to give up because no one will give you a chance until this one person hires you on as an entry level designer. They may decide to do a trial run on you to see if you learned anything in school or see if you know what you’re doing.
You want to have your boss be able to trust you knowing that you’re going to do a good job. You want him to be able to give you an assignment without telling you how to do it. Your boss is very busy, and he does not have the time to train you so you will be just as experienced as he is. As you get started, you may be doing really well at it, and he may decide to end your trial period and put you on the payroll as a full time designer.
If he says no, then you’re out of a job and you’re trying to think of what you can do to get another job. Maybe you will decide to start a business of your own and do 3d design and animation for any company that would need the work done. This would be a start and you would still be making money until you look for another job.
Plus if you decide to stick to two careers, then you may decide that you like this one over the other career or the other way around and you might be able to drop it. If you drop it, then you still have another career and you can start that one earlier than what you have planned. That other career would be more like a back up plan to start earlier than you expected.
To make your decision, you might want to either think about it, talk to advisers at different schools, or do some research to see if doing two careers is a good idea or what you should do. Advisers at different schools may help make your decision more clearer but remember it’s your decision to make so you still have to think about it.
You might decide at the beginning that 3d design is not the career you want to go in. If you’re having any doubts whatsoever, then their’s no way you should do this as a career. You should do something that you know you’re going to love and at a job that you will stay with until you retire.
