Mastermind Groups and The RoadRunner?

The coyote sure was persistent.

One of my favorite cartoons has to be the Roadrunner and good ol’ Wile E. Coyote! Episode after episode that persistent and dedicated Coyote planned and schemed the demise of the infamous RoadRunner.

Falling off cliffs, exploding bombs, and fake tunnels painted on the side of a mountain… and of course the infamous ACME company. So what lesson can be learned from a silly Saturday morning cartoon?

Persistent Attitude? Yes.
Creativity? Yes.

So, why couldn’t he catch the little bird? Well, I guess to keep us coming back week after week - however, I am certain he was missing a key element necessary for success. The poor ol’ coyote always acted alone. He missed out on the powerful principle of the mastermind effect.

A mastermind group can literally change your business and life overnight! And the longer you work with that group the more you will see the benefits expand into every area of your life! In my mastermind group I have seen my marriage, business, spiritual life, and even my health improve year after year.

This article is not to teach you all about mastermind groups, but to again remind you of the importance of such groups. So, could my mastermind group catch the speeding Roadrunner? Maybe so. At least we may have had better ideas than exploding ACME rockets…

Some jobs that require you to sell products may also require you to buy a lot of the product and then sell it on your own. You should always read the fine print and know what you are signing before you sign any contract.

Just about any business can be run from your home. You can have a house cleaning service, day care, or even a service to sit with elderly. If you like animals then you may want to start a kennel or grooming business. If you want to work out side then you may look into a lawn care service. Go with your interests and talents.

No matter what you decide to do you should bear in mind that if your prices are to high then people will find the product or service elsewhere. You should research what you want to do and learn all you can about the going rates and any licenses or certifications that may be required. You can be your own boss and set your own hours but there will be hard work involved. It may also take time to build your business so you should be prepared to be persistent.
