When I started getting into this world of online marketing I was so overwhelmed I became bogged down with INFORMATION OVERLOAD.
I signed up for a few marketing lessons, but it was all too much for me to take in. There were video tutorials, blueprints galore and extras clogging my inbox I almost couldnt think straight!
I had just started with a really great company, but without all the advertising dollars to get started I almost gave up without even trying.
But I stuck it out and decided to sift through all the info to separate any credible stuff from the crap.
So, what you want to do is generate traffic to your website. Attract visitors and encourage them to read through all your information and then purchase your product or enter some details so you can get in touch with them.
My website is for a business opportunity, so I ideally want people to leave their details so I can follow up with a phone call and email.
But I had to think outside the box. How did I expect to attract people to my site if I didn’t have lots of money to spend on Google and niche marketing campaigns? Easy! Even though I didn’t have the cashflow I did have TIME! Most people think to start making money you need money and while that makes things a bit easier it doesn’t mean you can’t leverage what you do have. I am definitely not Shakespeare, so don’t worry if you think “I’m not very good at writing” because the great thing about the Internet is that people aren’t interested in that sort of thing. Why Article Marketing? . Well, it gets your product or opportunity out amongst the world wide web and also helps boost rankings in Google.
Be consistent in writing lots of articles. Personally I wrote about 3-5 per week in the beginning and now just sporadically, but you could be writing that many per day or MORE!
You might also want to note: Write about things you know and that are related to what you’re trying to market. I help people set up their own online home businesses, so the idea is that someone looking to market online may want to know more about me and possibly team up with me because I have skills they’d like to learn.
