Too many internet marketers are in search for that magical affiliate program that will solve all of their problems. You are free to work with as many affiliate programs as you want but you will at least need several just so you can operate normally. If you are only marketing for one affiliate program then you are digging your own ditch to bury your business in. Finding consistent winning offers with one affiliate network is close to impossible. You can keep multiple winning campaigns but you will need to find them on different networks and from multiple merchants. Getting banned from a network, for whatever reason, is a common occurrence and you need a safety in place in case it happens to you, your safety will come from the money that you will continue to receive from other programs. Not all programs will be a good match for you so giving them a quick test can help you decide. Even though there are affiliate programs that have stood the test of time and have positive reviews from many affiliate marketers, it’s just wise to do your own testing. But still, do your own homework before you join an affiliate program because you want to play safe while taking calculated risks. If you don’t want to go for independent affiliate programs, you can even join affiliate networks that have many affiliate products listed. With each new profitable campaign, come an increase in income and stability. A myth that is very prevalent says that you must have a site that is loaded with content if you plan to succeed with affiliate marketing. Review sites don’t have much content at all and many of them do very well. What matters more than the quantity of the content here is how targeted it is. Common practice among many is to throw a site up and then throw 101 articles on the site and place a banner and some links to the product page. Why not give a personal review of the product? - Video reviews with audio works very well for this. The content should support the product. The most important element of this equation is the review so make sure you balance it right.

Although there is some truth about them saying affiliate marketing is hard; this is only in the beginning when you have to learn the basics. It’s not hard at all. Completely ignore it. Every business takes effort, including being an affiliate.

You may be surprised how easy it is to get super affiliate status when you focus on all the right elements. It’s all about doing what works.
