Thousands of people try to make money online, with thousands of people actively searching for methods via Google, Yahoo and Bing. It’s a tragedy that most of the results on the search engines skip the most sure-fire way of making money on the Internet: keyword marketing.
What is Keyword Marketing?
I use a method to make money online also known as “keyword marketing”. The concept is relatively simple. You build a website, and then get that website to rank on the search engines for a keyword. The keywords can be topics like “work from home” or “financial planning.” Anything is game. Pick a keyword and run with it.
Most gurus try to make it sound complicated. It’s not complicated at all — it’s actually pretty simple. My top website is one of the top 5 results for the phrase “financial planning” which works great.
How You Actually Make Money Online
Your website generates revenue through affiliate programs and ad programs like Google’s AdSense and Yahoo ads. The ads and affiliate links are placed in your content. There are thousands of methods you can utilize to earn money online with your website or blog.
Here’s The Plan
1. Pick the Niche. Pick a niche that people search for every day. Your niche is your keyword. Make sure the competition isn’t to great. Just check the search engines to check. Ask yourself, “Could I do a better job than these webmasters?” If the answer is yes, you’ve found a winner.
2. Write Content. Write 50 articles on your topic. You don’t need any more content than 50 articles. Even 30 should get the job done.
3. Backlink Building. You need links pointing towards your site from other websites to rank well on Google. You need to build as many links as possible. Link networks, guest posts — just build links.
This isn’t some kind of hypothetical “way” to make money. This is something I’ve been doing for over a year. I paid for college in my first six months. Keyword marketing is powerful, it works, and the gurus are pretending it doesn’t exist.
